At the Research Collaborative Facilities, mercury behaviors in environment are studying by member of Risk Evaluation Section and Natural Science Section. Particularly, since chemically behavior of mercury in soil, aquatic system and air are very important, we are focusing to it in our study. For instance, the mercury pollution monitoring of sea water and fresh water from Minamata region is one of important works of our study. On the other hand, this facility has an accommodation (8 rooms) for domestic researchers. Therefore, it is expected to contribute on proceeding of good research collaboration in the near future.
